Shout out to kilalala and VampireMouse, you guys rock!

‘… Anna?’
‘Hmmm,’ looking up from the swirling depths of her milk-and-sugar coffee, she smiled apologetically at the man seated across from her. Since that first meeting for coffee, she had seen Josh two more times, three if you included today. She felt comfortable around him, knowing that he would not bring up her ex-fiancé if she did not want to. But even besides that, she found she truly enjoyed his company. Apparently she was not the only one who had changed. ‘I am sorry, Josh, I must admit I was a bit distracted for a moment. What was it you said?’
‘I asked if you already wrote your high school friend back.’
‘Oh… no, not yet. It’s just,’ she sighed, ‘It’s just that I don’t want to have to explain it all. The last time I talked to Kathy I was in my second year of university, I had just moved out of my parents’ house, and there weren't even plans yet of getting married for either of us…’
He looked thoughtful, probably trying to find a way to make her feel better, when her phone rang. Already suspecting who it could be, Anna rolled her eyes as she grabbed her phone and held up her hand at Josh.
‘Yes?’
‘Anna, please don’t be mad about last night. I’m so s-‘
‘I’m not mad, Tom,’ Anna sighed. ‘Please just don’t call me anymore in the middle of the night, okay? I tend to be sleeping at that time.’
‘I’ll try,’ he laughed, then in the background, ‘Mr. Kaulitz, we are in the middle of take-off. I have to ask you to please put away your phone.’
‘You are ON the plane?!’
‘Well… yes.’
‘Goodbye, Tom.’
