After charms, we made our way to the first floor, to the transfiguration classroom. Professor McGonagall turned out to be stern but fair. She had no tolerance of silliness.
‘Transfiguration is some of the most complex and dangerous magic you will learn at Hogwarts,’ she said, ‘Anyone messing around in my class will leave and not come back. You have been warned.’
We started studying the transfiguration alphabet and even though I wasn’t as good in transfigurations as I was in charms, I still enjoyed it.
Yesterday I felt like an outsider, lonely and hated. Today passed way quicker and even though a lot off people still whispered behind my back, bullied me and Jason scolded me for losing house points again, I felt more at ease than before. Maybe it was the fact that I finally found a friend, I mean a normal friend, not a crazy person or that the lessons were pretty much up my alley, that I forgot about my father’s cave too.
