I try all the time to rationalize these feelings of doubt inside my brain, and I think I do a pretty good job, but it doesn’t really help me. Even when you realize that these thoughts you’ve been having probably don’t make a lot of sense, there is still no off-switch to make them instantly disappear.
The result being an invisible vapor constantly lingering around you, causing it to be difficult to breathe, like this constant weight on your chest, pushing down, crushing you.
See, when you rationalize everything you try to lie to yourself, telling yourself you don’t feel these things simply because it doesn’t make sense to, and it just makes you feel more misunderstood.
So how does one find the off-switch?
